Aliens? [25 May 2015|05:11pm] swordmaid Greetings!  I am Snow and I am excited to bring Sif to the game, the fiercest Swordmaid in Asgard!  She's a complex character (she is female after all) with a huge dose of self-doubt that she overcompensates for by training as a warrior.  She finds herself on Midgard following orders from Odin (as far as she knows, at least) to see what role Asgardians need to play in order to continue to keep the peace between the Realms.  The Asgardians are worried about Thor, and as she has been in love with him for millenia, she is easy to manipulate where he is concerned.  Though her brother Heimdall will open the Bifrost for her and she comes and goes between the realms, while on earth she has apartments in Manhattan and DC.  She is tasked with keeping an eye on the affairs of humans.  Though she has never been formally introduced to the Avengers, some of them likely know of her from her cameo with Shield and those who have ties to Shield would also likely know her from that.  Any who have spent time on Asgard or are close to those who have would also likely know her or at least of her.  And of course, anyone who knows the stories of the Norsemen would know her from their folktales. Lines are welcome :D and plottiness would be loved.  I figure she needs to be brought into the fold or at least run tangentially to the fold at this point, so aiding in some skirmish would be great.  That or someone with a Shield connection could contact her.  Darcy at least would recognize her from the confrontation with the robot in Thor.  And of course she would love to see Thor, even if he's being an idiot.  So yeah, hit me up here or on AIM.  I'll try and remember to sign in there.  I look forward to playing with you all! I did it again... [24 May 2015|07:34pm] mistyk Hey guys, Vaf here with my second. Misty Knight does not yet have her bionic arm, as I want to play that out in game. I brought Misty in to eventually be on Daredevil's Street Level Team. As of now, she's a highly capable NYPD police officer in the 18th precinct, about to get her gold shield at last. However, the explosion which costs her her right arm while fighting terrorists is coming very soon to a Big Abused Apple near you, and her whole life may change. Lines plz!! 10 comments +

[22 May 2015|01:20pm] cauterising Hot on the heels of Natasha (you're second favourite and you know it), I am Squid with Hawkeye! Same basics with this guy with two small tweaks (only one is probably an actual tweak) for ease of play and building in world, Clint doesn't have that super sweet family out in the back end of beyond. I love HawkFam and I love the Ultimates spin on MCU Clint, but for the sake of play and character development, I'm gonna go with nixin' that for now. Instead, Clint has a farm from land left in the family way back when but no wife and kids living there. Additionally, I'm working in a little 616 background in that Clint has some hearing trauma, not entirely deaf yet, but there's significant damage to his hearing from years of working around explosions and tossing himself through windows before they've been opened. Other than that, being here just as plot kicks off is awesome! I'm up for anything and everything, so just lemme know! xD 22 comments +

I bring you my good friend and everyone's favorite spy/assassin (suck it, Clint) Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow. She's been hanging out at the upstate compound, training the newbies and tormenting Steve. As for differences from MCU canon, she and Bruce weren't ever really a thing. Flirty friends, but not more than that. Also, I'm taking a piece of her comics history and making her old as hell. She was born in 1934 (something no one knows), as she had her own fancy Red Room enhancements (aka graduation day wasn't just about sterilization). To simplify things for myself I am saying that he has been away from Midgard the last eight months, so that he has not been back since leaving at the end of 'Age of Ultron.' The details of what he did or did not learn are being decided, but for now I am running with the idea that he knows a BIG threat is on the horizon, collecting or at least seeking to gather the Infinity Stones. My first post will be his return and then beyond that.. I am open to any and all plots. Further connecting with the New Avengers would be great, as well as anything with the original members. howdy! [19 May 2015|02:06pm] hesquick Vaf here, and I bring the snark Pietro Maximoff, codename Quicksilver. Rumors of his death, and all that. The headcanon: Poor Wanda has been dealing with the loss and grief over her dead twin for the past eight months. In the meantime, some shady characters over at SHIELD decided to abscond with his body and take him on an all expenses paid vacation to TAHITI. The process had its kinks, and he came back, but with no memory of his resurrection or anything that came before it. This less than ethical cadre of SHIELD agents decided to let him think he was with SHIELD all along, and retrained him in combat and the use of his abilities. He has been training and enters the game as a powered SHIELD asset. He has also been getting vague flashbacks and dreams of his past life, so the memories are there, locked away somewhere in his regenerated brain. Discuss. :D ------ So now comes the fun part, reintegrating him with the rest of the cast and helping him along the process of reclaiming his memories. Any takers? I've already been talking to the Wanda player (lol!!) and we have some plotty bits cooking. I also can't wait for us to get a Hawkeye so they can prank each other in brostastic ways.
